SCHOLARSHIPS + FINANCIAL AID
Kismet Improv offers scholarships for improv classes and sponsors seats in each class to promote diversity and inclusion in the improv community. Improv can help individuals improve their communication skills, build confidence, and develop creative problem-solving abilities. However, not everyone has access to these opportunities due to financial constraints or lack of representation in the industry. By providing scholarships and sponsoring seats, Kismet Improv aims to create a more equitable and accessible learning environment for all individuals who may greatly benefit from improv instruction, especially those historically underrepresented in improv.
Acknowledging historical exclusion in theater communities, Kismet sponsors enrollment opportunities for people of color, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, individuals from low-income backgrounds, individuals from non-English speaking countries, older individuals, and those with non-traditional educational or career backgrounds who are historically underrepresented in improv and live theater communities.

As a result of high demand, the number of sponsored enrollments for our program is limited. All students are expected to attend 75 percent of classes. Additionally, all students must follow Kismet's Code of Conduct.
