IMPROV STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Kismet Improv offers scholarships by sponsoring up to 25% of seats in each class to promote diversity and inclusion in the improv community. Our goal is to create accessible learning environment for those who may benefit from improv instruction but face financial constraints or are historically underrepresented in live comedy.

REPRESENTATION SCHOLARSHIP (100%)

Acknowledging historical exclusion in theater communities, Kismet sponsors enrollment opportunities for people of color, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, individuals from low-income backgrounds, individuals from non-English speaking countries, those over 50, and those with non-traditional educational or career backgrounds who are historically underrepresented in improv and live theater communities.

Due to high demand, the number of sponsored enrollments in our program is limited to 10-25% of the roster of each class. All students are required to attend at least 75% of the classes. Every student must adhere to Kismet's Code of Conduct.

At Kismet, we understand that facing financial challenges can be tough, but we believe in the power of improv education to bring joy and growth into your life. That's why we offer partial financial aid to support students in continuing their improv journey.

Financial aid availability is determined by class enrollment and demand, and we're here to assist you every step of the way. We want everyone to experience the benefits of improv, so don't hesitate to reach out.
