IMPROV STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Kismet Improv offers scholarships by sponsoring seats in each class to promote diversity and inclusion in the improv community. Our goal is to create accessible learning environment for those who may benefit from improv instruction but face financial constraints or are historically underrepresented in live comedy.

Acknowledging historical exclusion in theater communities, Kismet sponsors enrollment opportunities for people of color, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, individuals from low-income backgrounds, individuals from non-English speaking countries, those over 50, and those with non-traditional educational or career backgrounds who are historically underrepresented in improv and live theater communities.

As a result of high demand, the number of sponsored enrollments for our program is limited. All students are expected to attend 75 percent of classes. Additionally, all students must follow Kismet's Code of Conduct.
