About this Class

This scene study workshop is all about freeing yourself from the internal critic, ditching the doubt, and diving headfirst into the joy of fearless play. Guided by the foundational "Yes, And" principle– this class will help you break through hesitation, get out of your head, and into the moment. Led by Matt Vita, whose approach to improv is grounded in fearless, reckless joy, this workshop will focus on real-time scene work and give each participant targeted guidance based on their needs and current growth areas. Whether you’re working on making stronger choices, building richer relationships, or just learning to let go, this class is a supportive space to explore, take risks, and truly play. Expect: - Scene reps and feedback tailored to YOU - Reconnecting with what makes improv fun - Exercises to break the fear loop and trust your instincts - A supportive environment that encourages bold, joyful risk-taking - The freedom to be messy, loud, and unapologetically you on stage This isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence, play, and pushing past the fear that holds us back. Come ready to say "Yes, And" like you mean it, and then follow it into the wild unknown with reckless abandonment. Let’s get out of our heads—and back into the joy of play. —--- Matt Vita is a nationally touring headliner and actor who launched his comedy career in the NYC improv scene. A veteran of both sketch and improv house teams at The PIT, he’s also coached teams and led corporate improv workshops—Zip Zap Zopping with everyone from interns to top-tier CEOs. He’s even performed improv for Mark Cuban and the cast of Shark Tank, and had a solo main stage show at the final Del Close Marathon. Matt has shared the screen with Queen Latifah and the stage with comedy heavyweights like Colin Quinn, Tim Meadows, Joe List, Kevin McDonald, Steve Hofstetter, Paul Rodriguez, Jim Gaffigan, and more.
