Kismet Improv is a destination for all kinds of comedy. We love to feature standup that values craft, intentionality, and unique perspectives. Whether you are a touring headliner or a local comic honing a new set, we provide a professional, intimate stage for high-caliber comedy.
Bring Your Show to Kismet
Our room is an intimate, 40-seat space designed for curated showcases and touring headliners who prioritize sharp writing and performance. We are especially interested in showcasing out-of-town acts, performers from diverse backgrounds (e.g., women and femmes, people of color, queer performers, and performers with disabilities), and anyone passionate about bringing new and underrepresented voices to Rhode Island.

If you are an individual comic looking to perform a 5–15 minute set, we’d love to see your work at Thursday Night Vibes (TNV), our weekly independent comedy showcase. This is the primary pipeline for local talent to get stage time and be considered for future curated Kismet showcases.
