About this Class

Kismet Improv's Practice Group is a welcoming community of improvisers who come together to hone their skills, explore their creativity, and build connections with fellow performers. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to improv, our Practice Group offers a fun, low-pressure environment where you can learn, grow, and enjoy yourself. Each week, we welcome first-time and long-time improvisers. At the Practice Group, we believe improv is for everyone. Our sessions are designed to be inclusive and supportive, welcoming improvisers of all backgrounds, experiences, and skill levels. We value diversity and strive to create an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and appreciated. No experience is required—bring your enthusiasm and prepare for a great time! Details: • Practice Group encourages, but does not require, online RSVPs. Instructor: Elizabeth Henderson Elizabeth Henderson is a beloved teacher and performer at Kismet Improv. With years of experience, she has enjoyed working with hundreds of improv students at all levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned performers. Elizabeth is passionate about introducing new improvisers to the fun and wonder of improv, and she thrives on helping them develop their skills and confidence on stage. Elizabeth's energy and enthusiasm shine through in her performances, whether dazzling audiences with longform and musical improv at Kismet's Friday Night House Party or taking the stage at traveling shows across the Northeast. Her journey in improv began in 2015 with her first class at Washington Improv Theater. She later advanced her training at the prestigious UCB Theatre NY, reaching the Advanced Study level and at Kismet Improv.
