Showcase: Saturday, Feb. 6 at 4 p.m. Instructor: Randy Miller Instructor bio: Randy Miller is an established improviser, coach, and teacher who trained at the renowned Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) theater in NYC. As a member of their advanced Academy Program, Randy honed his skills under the guidance of amazing coaches and gained independent training with various indie improv teams in New York. Randy has been a house performer at Kismet Improv since 2022. You can catch Randy actively performing and coaching teams at Kismet's Friday Night House Party, where he has performed with the Marquee Freeform team and coached numerous Kismet house teams, like The Void, Bear Feet, and Bananafish. Additionally, he is the producer of Kismet's storytelling show, 'The Cicada.' Beyond Kismet, Randy shares his love for improv by teaching adults with developmental disabilities at The Outsider Collective in Pawtucket, RI, and at the MAB Training and Rehabilitation Center in Westborough, MA, where he works with adults who have developmental disabilities, strokes, or other TBIs. Randy’s teaching philosophy is about trust—trusting yourself as a performer, trusting your teammates, and embracing the unknown in life and improv.
