In 2008, comedian Jake Goldman dipped his toes into the political waters through a combination volunteerism and comedy that led him on a ragged journey through the muck of blogging, to political canvassing in rural Pennsylvania with detours into the studios of Air America Radio in New York City and a bad trip of a trip to the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis. It all came to a crashing halt though, when the website he wrote for went belly-up,  he got laid off from his day-job, and lost the last affordable apartment in the New York City metro area. In this show, Jake will tell those absurd and silly stories, read some of his previously published political comedy - and more - and bring it all back to today, where he finds himself creeping ever leftward, as we all watch our country do a little dance with fascism. This show's going to be funny. I'm not just trying to convince myself of that right now, ha, no, no - oh, what's uh, oh, would you look at the time? Got to tend to the succulents!
