Neal Leaheey started improvising by pure chance after an unexpected audition and since then, he’s been lucky enough to perform hundreds of improvised shows locally and festivals around the US, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. He is also a RISCA teaching artist and works with Rhode Island high school students to offer additional arts education and support. With a special interest in using ideas about improvisation to devise new works of theatre, Neal creates works that challenge ideas about gender, find new ways to tell intersecting stories and allow us to rewrite our own personal narratives.
