TUESDAY July 29, 7-9 PM Learn to play well with others in our workshop focused on montage skills and group scenes! Designed to prepare you for the upcoming house team auditions at Kismet Improv, this workshop is perfect for those looking to sharpen their ensemble skills and shine on stage. Key Tenets Covered: • Sharing and Taking Focus: Master the art of balancing focus within the group, ensuring everyone has their moment to shine. • Identifying and Following a Pattern: Learn to recognize and build on emerging patterns to create cohesive and engaging scenes. • Heightening: Discover techniques to escalate the stakes and intensity, keeping the audience captivated. • Stage Presence: Enhance your awareness and use of the stage to create visually dynamic scenes. • Supportive Play: Build strong scenes together, making each other look good and creating a collaborative environment. • Dynamic Relationships: Delve into the complexities of multiple character interactions and how they drive the scene forward. Who Can Join? This workshop is open to anyone intending to audition for the 2025-26 season and has completed some training in longform scenework (for example, you've completed Kismet's IMPROV 301, or equivalent elsewhere.) Ready to elevate your improv and nail your next audition? You've found the right spot! Instructor: Brad Rohrer (he/him) Brad Rohrer is a founding performer, longtime coach, and teacher at Kismet Improv, bringing nearly 20 years of experience to the Rhode Island improv scene. You can see Brad performing and coaching longform improv every week at Kismet's House Party. Additionally, he co-hosts the Funbearable Podcast and regularly performs at the Comedy Connection. Brad trained at the legendary iO theater in Chicago, IL. In his improv classes, Brad always emphasizes the importance of listening and responding authentically, ensuring that scenes are dynamic and engaging. Cancellation Policy

Please email classes@kismetimprov.com if you need to cancel your class enrollment or space rental. If you need to withdraw from a class, you can apply your registration fee as a credit toward a future class. However, if you withdraw within 48 hours of the class start time or after the class has already started, you will not be eligible for a credit transfer.
