About this Class

Ever feel so much pressure to talk in a scene that you’re not hearing what your scene partner is saying? Or that you missed something that led to confusion later? Good news— paying attention to your partner looks great while you’re doing it, and listening to what they are saying makes your improv even funnier. In this workshop, we will practice - hearing without immediately reacting or judging - being a great scene partner by honoring what’s been said - picking up on tiny details that pay off huge later Join Luke Bruneaux for a 2.5 hour workshop that’ll make you a better listener on stage and in life! Luke Bruneaux is an improv performer, teacher and coach. Trained at iO Chicago and ImprovBoston, he co-founded Kismet Improv in 2021 and served as Artistic Director through 2024. He currently performs with comedy band Off-Ramp and improv duo Comedy Hall of Fame.

Cancellation Policy

Please email classes@kismetimprov.com if you need to cancel your class enrollment or space rental. If you need to withdraw from a class, you can apply your registration fee as a credit toward a future class. However, if you withdraw within 48 hours of the class start time or after the class has already started, you will not be eligible for a credit transfer.

We also offer improv and comedy classes for all levels.
