About this Class

FRIENDS, ROMANS, IMPROVISERS! LEND ME YOUR EARS! Begin to unlock the whimsical world of Shakespearean Improv in this 2.5-hour, high energy workshop designed for experienced improvisers. As the Bard himself proclaimed, “All the world’s a stage,” and in our session you’ll begin to master the nuances of Shakespearean Improvisation — from eloquent language to theatrical tropes and rich character development. Join us for a spirited journey where laughter harmonizes with the timeless legacy of the stage. MATT FEAR has been involved with improv, in one way or another, since 1994. Most recently Matt has been working full time with ImprovBoston as an actor, instructor and manager of the comedy school. He studied theater at Eastern Illinois University where he once read a play by William Shakespeare. After reading this one play, he exclaimed “I CAN MAKE UP A BETTER PLAY THAN THIS!” He was then asked to quiet down by the person sitting next to him on the bus.

Cancellation Policy

Please email classes@kismetimprov.com if you need to cancel your class enrollment or space rental. If you need to withdraw from a class, you can apply your registration fee as a credit toward a future class. However, if you withdraw within 48 hours of the class start time or after the class has already started, you will not be eligible for a credit transfer.
