About this Class

Start your improv journey in Improv 101/201! Discover the joy of spontaneous scenes, hilarious characters, and collaborative storytelling. What to Expect: ✨ Learn the fundamentals of improv in a supportive and engaging environment. ✨ Explore simple and fun improv games to boost confidence and creativity. ✨ Enhance your communication skills through interactive exercises. ✨ Connect with fellow beginners and embark on a laughter-filled journey together! This class is perfect for beginners, those who have completed Improv 101, or those with some basic improv experience. The class will review 101 concepts and ensure mastery of 201 concepts. Those who complete this class can move on to Improv 301. Instructor: Krissy Larsen Showcase: March 23 at 6 p.m. Kristen Larsen (Krissy) is a full-time marketing professional with a passion for acting, singing, and improv. Since 2011 she has performed with a variety of improv troupes including Bring Your Own Improv (short form), Pipes (musical long form), and several musical house teams at Kismet (Ragnarock, Chicken Staccato, and Hot Town). She has acted in dozens of musicals and stage productions, sung in choir and a capella groups, starred in the indie film “the Graveyard Gang”, and is a retired Princess performer. She loves to bring her high energy and passion to all her performances and is thrilled to bring the same energy to class! You can see her on stage performing at House Party with Kismet's musical improv team, THE POP HEARTS.

Cancellation Policy

Please email classes@kismetimprov.com if you need to cancel your class enrollment or space rental. If you need to withdraw from a class, you can apply your registration fee as a credit toward a future class. However, if you withdraw within 48 hours of the class start time or after the class has already started, you will not be eligible for a credit transfer.
