What to Expect: ๐ Learn the Basics: Dive into the core principles of improv. ๐ Have a Blast: Enjoy easy, fun games that boost confidence and creativity. ๐ฃ๏ธ Improve Communication: Interactive exercises will enhance your skills. ๐ค Make Friends: Connect with fellow beginners and share lots of laughs. Why Take Improv? Boost Confidence: Feel more comfortable speaking in front of others. Think on Your Feet: Improve your quick thinking and problem-solving skills. Enhance Creativity: Unlock new ways of thinking and expressing yourself. Teamwork: Learn to collaborate and support others in a fun environment. Improv 101 is a must for everyone, starting at Kismet. Once you complete Improv 101, you can move on to Improv 201. Instructor: Brad Rohrer Brad Rohrer is a founding performer, longtime coach, and teacher at Kismet Improv, bringing nearly 20 years of experience to the Rhode Island improv scene. You can see Brad performing and coaching longform improv every week at Kismet's House Part. Additionally, he co-hosts the Funbearable Podcast and regularly performs at the Comedy Connection. Brad trained at the legendary iO theater in Chicago, IL. In his introductory improv classes, Brad covers "Yes, And" fundamentals to foster spontaneous creativity and collaboration.
