ABOUT THE COURSE

This class takes the basics of improv fundamentals, scene work, and character-building and helps you create a never-before-seen improv show. You'll work closely with your classmates to find your comedic voice, hone your point-of-view and develop a cohesive, fun and unique improv performance.

INSTRUCTOR

Kate Hopkins

Kate Hopkins has been teaching improv since 2016. She has been an instructor at ImprovBoston's comedy school, Union Comedy and has directed several independent improv teams. She performed regularly in Boston before moving to Pawtucket in 2021, including being a part of ImprovBoston's longest running Harold team: NEIGHBORS.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

  • Students must abide by the Kismet Improv Code of Conduct and follow all Health + Safety policies.

  • Students must be 18 or older.

  • Students must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon enrollment.
