ABOUT THE COURSE

This class takes the building blocks of improv fundamentals and uses them to create characters and scenes. With a focus on 'YES, AND,' we will explore the basics of improv scenework, giving and receiving offers, and creating improvised worlds together.

INSTRUCTOR

Ken Breese

Ken Breese is a performing artist, hailing from the former Jewelry Capital of the World, Attleboro, Massachusetts. He has been performing improv since 2006 and is a former cast member at iO West, Second City Hollywood, The Ruby LA, BYOI and Improv Boston, where he was also an instructor. In his spare time, Ken sings, watches the Boston Celtics and chills with his best friend, a cat named Chloe.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

  • Students must abide by the Kismet Improv Code of Conduct and follow all Health + Safety policies.

  • Students must be 18 or older.

  • Students must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon enrollment.
